Read all about OpenFreecycle, winner of the "Hacker's Choice" and "Best In Show" awards at Yahoo's OpenHackLondon.

OpenFreecycle was created in 24 hours at #OpenHackLondon, an event organised by the Yahoo Developer Network (9th-10th May 2009).

Currently, we are only serving content from the Leeds Freecycle group. Further groups are planned, along with alert notifications for specific items, and a Greasemonkey script for shopping sites (eBay, etc) that informs you when an item is available for free in your local community.
